Hahaha! I saw my teacher!!!!

Teachers never change. Most of them are scumbags. I know this from experience. Let them strike and then fire them.

BILL!

The moral of the story: taxes are going up by 6.55% for 2010, which means, on average, $245 MORE per household. In the midst of the worst recession since the Great Depression and the highest unemployment in decades. Why? "$2 million more for teacher salaries, $1.9 million in contributions to PSERS, the state's Public School Employees Retirement System... and $817,000 in added health care costs."

Hmm...teachers...
You're making way more than my parents, and you're still saying it's not enough?
There gets to be a certain point where the students just get killed from the extreme work that they are forced to make up.
No holidays, no breaks, it's just non-stop until the end.
You really care about the kids? You should have reached a resolution BEFORE school started. You should have tried to keep what was best for them. If not, the doors are always open.
*gets off soapbox*
Class of 2011.

i'm a student there, they should strike more, the school board didn't give them a fair share, i don't care about the strike, it gives me more time to actually be productive

Lol, Mr. Lukridge was my Social Studies teacher in eighth grade.
On a less random note, let us go back to school!
And I think that we ARE the lowest-paid school district. Otherwise the teachers wouldn't be making such a fuss, hmm?
Yeah, other kids are in school in their districts, and we're gonna be behind. Kids are gonna be mad about this...
