52 Reason / Record Tips - Week 30: Using Neptune on Singer That Needs It... ME!

Now that Record 1.5 has come out, people are experimenting with the Neptune Pitch Corrector and Voice Synth and some have been asking for tips for lead vocals. Still others have been asking how to activate the Voice Synth for some insta-harmonies. This week I'll attempt to answer both questions by putting Neptune to the test ON MYSELF! You are about to witness my debut as a singer... and my swan song all the same time.

amazing tutorial! just bough reason record and its the best vocal editing software ive ever had. Oh and the wide vibrato, i got a bit confused. what it does is smooths out the vibrato in your recording??

@MISTERXAVIERMUSIC The wide vibrato doesn't do extra smoothing. It's more of a tolerance thing. It sorta tells Neptune, "Hey this person's voice wiggles a lot with vibrato so don't get freaked out when you see the pitch wobbling around. That's just how they sing." It can help with singer like that when Neptune would otherwise want to correct a pitch that's not really "wrong"
