Found on beach at Newcombs Hollow, Wellfleet, MA, Cape Cod. The est 100 yr old spine and ribs are thought to come from a sailing barge. This is the last video as the timbers broke up and were washed away in the next storm. April 2009.

  • This wooden shipwreck appeared on the beach at Newcombs Hollow, Wellfleet, Cape Cod about 5 years ago. It started to have severe erosion from Nor'easters in the spring of 2009. Shortly after this video it broke up and pieces of it were washed about a half mile down the beach towards Truro. Estimated to be perhaps a sailing barge about 100+ years old.
