I won't say I dislike it as I learned from it, but his overhead mic technique description was frustrating. It would be nice to have an overhead view/diagram of the drum set and mics. It looks like one mic is back behind the floor tom and the other mic is in front of the hi-hat. Can anyone comment on where the overheads go? Thanks. Also, what angle? Also, does he always use overhead mics for the metal(cymbals) and drums or ever just for metal(cymbals) only? Thanks!
