This rally is being done in a civilized manner as a revolution of the American can be done. It will only lead to a civil war if we allow it. This is good that Americans are being more active in their government. I just hope they are heard by the current government.

smileytrucker, I was thinking the same thing. I was surprised by the large number of people. These tea parties were held on a Wednesday by "working Americans" who are more likely to be "at work." My wife and I would love to join them but then we both had to work. I think it is likely that there will be one on July 4 and this time, most people will be off and the number will be much greater. I can't wait until July 4.

Replace DC with what? Abolish the Fed and return to a gold standard? Or have banks individually issue their own currency?

With real statesmen not politicians. Yes return to gold standard. Since Nixon ended all gold backed currency the dollar is based apon you. That means you are the collateral. Look in the bottom left corner of your birth cert. That number you can look up on stock exchange to see how much your slave stock is worth. No. Only congress should have authority to coin money. Then they would have to tax b4 they spend rather than spend then tax thru inflation. The fed is a private bank owned by few elites.
