Wow! The AV isn't even the oldest English translation of the Bible. The NIV actually uses OLDER manuscripts and more of them to compile what was said by the authors. But God is big enough to get the message across even with our limits and useless bickering.

Correct me if I am wrong but isnt the NIV Bible made here on earth, and not on hell?? Obviously if you were to correct me you would be a fool. To speak in such a way you have spoken is a crime, for even though you are using an expression of speech and know that it doesnt truly come from hell, but from earth, you use this foolish worldly expression out of anger, you make a good point how the verses are diffrent but no one will waste time listening to such an unwell typed argument. Do some study on the translations and interpretation of ancient texts before you make such a stupid accusation. According to your logic, rhs200us, we are all going to hell because we don't have the original Hebrew manuscripts written by Moses himself.

It isn't completely omitted it is in the footnotes saying some texts have that passage. It is the same with Mark 11:26, but that isn't just NIV in general it is a certain company. Usually Zondervan does it. And to say that a bible is from the pits of hell is very dangerous. All words in it are God breathed. In the KJV there are words used that weren't used in the original texts such as thy, thou, and thee in reference to God. That is modern English writing to identify God in the text.

Actually, it depends on the person. The pastors don't say USE this version or else. Im sure people think that NIV is from the pits of hell, but if your reading and learning the bible sometimes the oldest version isn't the easiest version to read. I agree that we shouldn't use NIV to Learn everyting from but it helps explain. Better for the newborns in Christ. But don't JUDGE and assume that ALL Chi Alpha Sects use the NIV..Because my pastor teaches from KJV and NKJV...God Bless
