Wow I agree with everyone surprised this song only made it to #12 I'm sure if you looked at the charts most of the songs above it should not have been. This is the perfect song to drive to. Though I wasn't even born yet, this song was played a lot during the 1986 NBA Finals between the Celtics and Rockets....song just makes me think of golden times

Also, did TOTP ever let ANYBODY sing live?

It was re-released on a DVD single for the first time. Legal wrangles prevented that happening before 1998. Ironically, it reached no.12 - the same position it reached on its original release.
