@silkath he really has more of a shag style, it shows through his lindy hop and west coast for sure. but I think that's what it might be

There are different styles of lindy hop. Doug's style has a smoother look than, say, Savoy style lindy, but it is definitely lindy hop.

Doug and Christy won the Strictly lindy competition with this routine in 2001. Doug is the only competitor to ever be a finalist in Lindy Hop, West Coast Swing, and Carolina Shag in the same year at the US Open Swing Dance Championships (2002).
