  • Wow the Comet IV cabs up there always have PL42ACs, I want to see them with a Metro North engine which may never happen since Metro North likes there equipment together

  • @vze428s7 because these are "West of Hudson" routes. they are operated jointly between NJT and Metro North between northern New Jersey and New York west of the Hudson River. these Comet V cars are part of an equipment pool for this service shared with NJT, and therefore don't go into Grand Central.

  • OK I GOT TWO QUESTIONS!! first one, since when did new jersey transit ran service to new york past penn station, and second, how come i never see these metro north comet cars on the routes that come out of grandcentral
