Tuning the Air is a unique performance project of Seattle Circle employing a live 'surround sound' configuration with musicians encircling the audience. Rather than touring in pursuit of an audience, Seattle Circle is bringing the concept of the location based performance team to Seattle. Actually, that is a 'zither'. If you come to a show you will get to also hear a 'whiz' and - if you are lucky - a 'cascade'. (CF)

I saw them perform in their space about 4 years ago and it was amazing. The sensation of movement they create is fascinating. I sat with my eyes closed for most of the performance, on the mound of pillows they provided for us. It was a truly great show.

I have seen them ,oh about 10 - 15 times, and really have to say is - if you are a hi-fi music /sound/ lover - you will be so happy if you go! It is a feast for the ears! The space they are playing in now in fremont - is small enough that they don't have to plug in - the sound is really natural - it is a real treat!
