This seems very wrong. Principle of MWM's is that you have a sustained over pressure at the end of range - Sustained part of SNAG. The thumb is inadequate for trying to anchor the lumbar spine - should be pisiform. 2-3 reps is too few. Should be using a lot of effort as opposed to a little as you state. Your spine demo, you're making L4/5 articulate LESS at facets - that's the point of MWM's. Pressups after MWM's!? You re-assess flexion - Not worked? Discard technique as per Mulligan guidance
