I still have that sheet music. I miss choir SOOOO much. I tried out for the Midstate All State Choir while in highschool. I didn't make it in because I can't read notes because I do everything by ear, but it was worth it.

@digimontrainer12 The absence of vibrato is intentional. Didn't you know that? It's part of the choral tradition of English choral music (not to mention music of this period generally)--to sing with minimal vibrato. That practice is considered to allow clarity to this complex polyphonic music, which if sung with excessive vibrato, would lose said clarity entirely, and would be 'muddied' with a chaos of competing warbles ...

We're doing this in Madrigals at our high school. Go Soprano 1s! I LOVE the dissonance in this piece. It's pretty much a chord-gasm throughout the whole thing :)
