so am i just overthinking the various meanings of the set but when the guy crumples the flower could that symbolize the end of her 'innocence or at least the possible end of her single life?

El hombre es un símbolo que representa el tiempo de vida que Violetta tiene. Es la representación que el director de escenografía usó. Es algo abstracto pero real ala misma vez.

@MrMamilitas Para mí este personaje representa la evolución de la enfermedad que avanza inexorable unas veces y otras aún le quedan esperanzas. Tambien representa el doctor que sigue su enfermedad.

Es una figura que utiliza el director de escena Willy Decker, para representar segun el caso, la tuberculosis que padece Violeta ( en esta escena) o el médico que la visita en el tercer acto.
