Ulysses 31 intro

I love this show above all other obscure 80's cartoon shows. It had this wierdly dark feel to it inspite of the irritating jar jar like robot sidekick Nono.

I'm 7 years old.

It's 7 O'Clock in the morning.

My brother and I have just come downstairs before our parents wake up.

We each get a bowl of cereal, sit in front of the TV and turn it on.

30 minutes of Ulysses 31 followed by 30 minutes of Heathcliff the Cat.

Good times.

this cartoon did not pull its punches, It has some real heart wrenching moments, as a kid I was pretty saddened at some of the deaths and the fates befallen some characters,

Damn this cartoon had some freakin balls!

really fond memory of this cartoon, some of the episodes were quite dqrk for kids though. Girlfriend told me it was big in france too (she's french).

Used to watch this after school on childrens bbc, back in the day when there were only 4 channels. This was followed by newsround and then blue peter. great times.

dude i watch Ulysses 31 in 1984 i new york on the early cable channel at 3pm on mondays and Saturdays at 5am yes 5am because the old channel back then didn't japanese shows unless it was really early love the old shows better then these new stuff any day
