  • Hell yesss nice boobs at 1:02!

  • I'm not a nazi, but whoah! I would wear one, they are so cool!

  • And of course, German uniforms have always been baddass ever since they started putting skulls on things

  • Would you believe I have some articles which when combined bear a striking resemblance to a khaki Nuremberg rally uniform? Your costume also succeeds admirably in portraying a figure who is justifiedly an object of fear, while also being tongue-in-cheek by keeping company with Shrek and whatnot.

  • For his early connections, Goldfinger was at first banned in Israel until Frobe was publicly thanked by a family whom he had given safe passage to. Anyway, it's my opinion that it's only by facing up to Nazism and not turning the other way when ever it comes up will we be able to confront a real prospective Hitler, instead of thinking that they would come in the form of a Halloween costume or some black satiric comedy. It's an excellent costume, and I hope to get one together myself.

  • And of course the English tradition of ridicule of Nazism is legendary as well, from Monty Python's Mr "Hilter" to Fawlty Towers and "Don't mention the war" and such. I only just found out that the German actor Gert Frobe, who besides playing Auric Goldfinger in the bond film also played several cinematic Nazis, was actually a Nazi Party member in his youth, but became disenchanted and helped several Jews to escape.

  • And really, pretty much everybody would have been affected negatively by Nazism whether they realized it or not, so everybody has a right to ridicule it to deprive it of its power. I myself am of British background, and I dare say we were the Allied power that came the closest to being utterly destroyed by Hitler, with the London Blitz and the V-2 rockets and the invasion force that could have crossed the English Channel in a blink if only Hitler wasn't coo-coo and bumbled into Russia instead.

  • Neo-Nazi: "We must revive the ideals of Adolf Hitler!"

Spectator: "What, you mean that sequin-covered guy prancing about doing the Guten Tag Hop Klop whose middle name was Elizabeth and whose devotee is Will Farrell? Are you yankin' me or something?"

  • But of course. You might know that on the show Hogan's Heroes, the actors who played Colonel Klink and Sergeant Schultz were both Jewish, and signed on the the job on the condition that the Nazis be portrayed as complete and utter fools who never succeeded at anything. And naturally Mel Brooks, whose work you are no doubt familiar with, said the intent of his comedy was to make it so that nobody would ever take Hitler or his ideas seriously ever again.
