My dad, my mother and I sailed around the world in a sailingvessel, my dad wrote
a book about it (mal seh'n wie weit wir kommen) (by Hans Habeck), but it's in German, check it out on Amazon. Bye

Exelent video. That's my plan for the future, I made a mistake buying a searay 3855 which is a good boat, but not for cruising like that and that is my dream God bless you guys

@ANICON2006 Very true. The 420 was a beautifully comfortable boat (even though this one we were on only had the bare essentials).

Tell me, how were those nights? Cold I guess :)
How did you handle with the nights sailing? Always 1 person every couple of hours, while the others were sleeping?

@QQmelo There were three of us on board, with four-hour shifts each. If I remember correctly, my shifts were 12 noon till 4pm, and from 12 midnight till 4am. The night sailing was absolutely magic. Quiet, dark, moody, sometimes with phosphorous illuminating where we had been....very cool. I did the trip through Reliance Yacht Management in London...looking them up if you're keen for an adventure :-)
