The USS Texas was christened on July 31st, 2004, by Laura Bush, First Lady of the United States, and launched into the James river on April 9th, 2005. Army Private Tyler Farris joined a Sailor on the USS Texas to find out what life on a nuclear submarine is like.

Wow that diesel is in bad shape. The A-Div when I was there never let the diesel look like that. Sad the standards are going relaxing.
