@rhenotaylor so u put the usb thingy into the pc and hook the hdmi cable up, and ur able to record stuff in HD?( i need 2 know cuz im considerin buyin 1.)

oh my goodness. i`m gon have to get this. even if it takes me a half of year worth of saving money cuz i`m only in high school.lol. this is rediculous, i been diein 2 record basketball,football, and track in hd. i have to get this.

almost correct... you'll connect the Component Cable ( Red Green Blue ) from your source ( STB/DVR/PS3/XBox360/Blueray Player ) to the HD PVR....then USB to your PC. It records in 720p60 and 1080i... damn near lossless quality from the original.

The Hauppauge HD PVR is a USB Video Capture device that comes with a AVCHD (h264+Dolby Audio) HW Compression Chip. The PC is only used as the DVR. YouTube video is also H264...so no need to convert before posting.
