A very good movie. The acting was terrific. IMO the boys' needs come first. Based on this film,the best answer is the real mothers' decision to give Isaiah back to his white parents,at least for a while and gradually get him back when he is old enough to understand. If he would have taken the change in a calm way,different story. He was absolutely horrified at living with strange people in a strange environment. Unfortunately, the court system thinks more 'political' than 'emotional'.

I'm black and I grew up with white people. I was adopted. My parents made sure that I acknowledged black people through books, films, history, toys etc...
