The End of TCC, 03/04/1998

This clip sees TCC ending, one of if not the longest running kids channel on Satellite at that time. It went out with a whimper, it even told its viewers it'd be back tomorrow, but it wasn't. If you did put it on the next day all you would see is CNBC and TV Travel Shop which took it's place.

The original plan was to move TCC to Trouble between 7am and 12pm, but the decision was taken to make Trouble broadcast from 7am, not 12pm as it had been doing.

On Cable a weird version of TCC carried on for 6 months or so, it was either broadcast tapes or the Nordic version of TCC which did continue for sometime afterwards.

Some cablenets in the UK carried TCC Nordic from Intelsat 601 at 27.5degW in PAL clear stereo 7.02/7.20Mhz(PANDA1)plus mono 6.50Mhz(50uS) for it's existance like you say after the Astra satellite service closed down and turned into Trouble.

tcc on one of its audio subcarriers had foreign commentry of tcc and when the uk ads come on it would play a music till the ads finished
