  • Cute baby, and the Tutorial is really helpful!

This is where I was looking for.

But, one question, the props, like, something you need in that scene, do you put that on there too?

  • @Marsbewoner With a movie, you would only describe an important, key prop in the action. For example, a murder weapon that is used later such as a gun or knife would be described. If you're doing a play, the opening action of the scene might have a list of props on stage. Hope that answers you question.

  • Thanks for your introductory Doug! I found this scriptwriting software last night and was very excitedfor one that it was free and the options it gives for adding storyboards and directors notes. I have enjoyed using the basic Word program for my writing but this is terrific for alligning everything properly. THis should save me time alone in finishing my Feature. You coming to Vancouver, Canada anytime?

  • @dawsonhills I'm happy this was helpful. Celtx is great. I used to live in Washington State so I have been to BC many times but not recently. Maybe one of these days.

  • @dbocaz Hi there! I'm using celtx and I saved a project that I was working on and I wanted to email it to a friend but it won't let me attatch it in an email. I'm guessing its because its not saved to jpeg but its only allowing me to save it to all files instead of jpeg. Can you help me out with this please??

  • @William82oct Did you try the Script > Export Script option on the top menu bar? You can export it to text format or html

  • I agree this is a very helpful podcast to get one started! Thanks! I just have two questions, what are some of the other reasons why you would change to a different scene? You mentioned change of location, but I could not think of any others. Also what are your views on Adobe Story vs Celtx?
