Royal Enfield dealer in Lakemoor IL (Scoots4u)

Went to look at motorcycles with side cars with some friends and family members.
The store was closed but the owner was nice enough to let us in to look around.

The Urals are almost a direct copy of the German BMW engines. The Enfields are
very reasonably priced for a 500cc cruiser style bike.

I like the 2WD Urals with reverse gear.

@Zavochkin Put the controls and a cover on the sidecar and it could be a nice winter vehicle. Strange looking going down the road however with no one on the seat. LOL

@Birdman1277 When I was a kid the three speed tank shift was rather common. The problem as far as safety was the foot clutch, which caused a lot of riders to tip over when starting from a stop wrong.

The left hand clutch is much better. 1 minute ago

@pushur It is a very distinct style and while I like it the Harley V45 is my choice for military type bikes.

@motorhead1 Around here retro sells pretty good. Lots of people in their fifties wanting to get back into riding and they are fans of the classics.
