100 Drawings

"100 Drawings" is an experimental animation created by Daniel Durning. The work evolved through the process of drawing and my desire to capture this ritual practice. The animation depicts the geometric progression of a simple radiant rectangle expressed through the meditative and transcendental experience of drawing. In pursuit to capture this process I was lead to animating 100 drawings in a 100 different ways with the soundtrack echoing the chant of my internal dialog.
