Dates. Dates have a prominent importance in our life because they consist of numbers. And numbers, the universe, and everything living (which is essentially everything) has numerical vibrations.

I'm considered a Numerologist as I study and practice the art of numbers as related to prediction and how your life is affected by numbers. The way we love, work, and our purpose on this planet (amongst other things) can be found in numbers.

Pythagoras, the Philosopher, Mathematician, Numerologist, Astronomer, Teacher and Musician, learned the powers of numbers while traveling to areas such as Egypt and Hindustan. For about 22 years gathered knowledge, wisdom, and esoteric traditions from the Rabbis, Moses, the Egyptian priests of Thebes, the Phoenicians, Syrians, and the Greek philosophers. In fact he came up with the term philosophy which means the love of wisdom -- philo (platonic love) & soph (divine wisdom) because he felt that we could always learn something new and he loved gaining new understanding and knowledge.

Ever since 2001 we have had the luxury of dates like 1/ 1/ 1 or January 1, 2001, 3/3/3 March 3, 2003. Last year we had 7/7/7 which I spoke about and was interviewed by the CBC radio (you can see and hear that interview from my web site). This year brings us 8/8/8 - August 8, 2008.

This day in August is the second decan or period of Leo. Leo, amongst many things, is about creativity, leadership, decadence, luxury, dominance, child's play, drama, warmth, protection, family, and love. The number 8 is about power, wealth, and health. Eight relates to prana, chi, otherwise known as breath in the English language / Western culture. The focus of eight is on a matter in a spiritually abundant way. The actual date of August 8 2008 adds up to a 26/8 which is unusual. So that makes this date have the energy of FOUR 8's.

Interestingly enough the number 8 in Chinese is also considered lucky and is the sign of wealth. In fact the pronunciation sounds similar to fortune in the Chinese language. And the Summer Olympics in Beijing are scheduled to open on 8/8/08 at 8:08:08 p.m.

Personally this date is ideal in business, investments, physical and medical pursuits. Sell or buy a business, make a huge profit and new deals, play the lotto, procedures done to the body, and be physical: run a marathon, camp, dance, or climb a mountain.

Globally we will find bad economy or investments being able to bounce back after having weathered storms in the past as well as philanthropists sharing their love and desire to help humanity. So don't be surprised if something wonderful happens to you out of the blue. This is not only an materialistic abundant day but a spiritually adundant one as well.

This "crap" has been around for a long time. This "crap's" accuracy comes about from centuries of observations and empirical study. There's nothing stupid in observing patterns. A meteorologist does it all the time in order to predict what weather we might experience in the future. Accuracy is not 100% as you know.
