sand sifting starfish education how to care for and needs!.. =]

You need at lest:
3 inch deep sand bed would be ok better if 4 or more!.. =]
it would be good if you only get one starfish for
25gl to 50gl
and 2or3 if 60gl up to 80gl
and 3or5 if 90gl to 200gl =]
every tank is different it will very from tank to tank!.. =]

by the way i am sorry i had a hard time making the vid i am basically trying to say that you need an established tank be for you introduce the star fish or there will not be in off waste and decaying plant matter in the tank as a food source for the star fish i and also saying to watch out for them when you are going to buy them you do not want to start out with one that is sick or injured i hope that helps if need more info i be happy to help i all most for got u need a deep sand bed as well it is a most or your star will die because that is where all there food source build up!.. =]

  • @fadifanous ya that rely is true sorry about that see i don't live in CA, any more i moved to be with my girl friend in KS, and i don't have my reef tank here my bro is keeping it back in CA, and seeing how i do not have a reef tank here or any thing i wanted to educate or help out in any way and as well as learn new things like breeding fish, and ect. so ya I'm hoping to start a new reef tank over here in KS, soon but i need to find a job first it rely suckx i miss my reef tank so bad! =/

  • I think it would have been better if you showed us an actual video of your tank, not a screen shot on youtube, but the information was good, it would help a lot of people that do not know about them.
