This is spot on. That election was the first time I could vote. I was already 20 because the last time there was a vote I was a few months shy of 18. I wanted my vote to count but... I felt no party represented or even paid attention to me. I had no idea who to choose for my precious first time ;P

And so the youth don't vote because they're confused! And then they stop caring. How are we supposed to be the generation of future change if everyone, including ourselves, don't pay us any attention?

The best thing you can do... vote anyway!

Spoil your ballot, if you don't really want a say in who gets elected -- they don't know who spoiled it, but they do know that YOU voted, they'll look at your specifics... age, location, job/school... and come the next election, if enough people in your bracket voted, they will target you, they will represent you.
