On May 25, the Hope for Gaza convoy organized by European Campaign to End Siege on Gaza (ECESG) was able to enter Gaza with medical supplies, accompanied by only 22 of the 100 members of the convoy. The success came after tremendous efforts and tiring journey from Europe to Gaza. The convoy, which left the Italian port city of Genoa last week, was led by Fernando Rossi of the Italian Senate and other European MPs. The convoy included, 12 ambulances and dozens of trucks loaded with medical equipment are accompanied by European parliamentarians and activists. A number of MPs from Greece, Switzerland, Ireland and Britain participated in the delivery of medical aid to Gaza, especially for those with special needs. More: http://www.savegaza.eu
