just showed how stupid u r
1 ALL computers slow down over time, especially if the HDD is getting full
2 again nothing 'remains top quality' as all technology in computer world is obsolete in 2-4 months
3 its better to only haveto upgrade a video card for $50-400 than an entire computer for 1000+ just to get the better video card
4 the only thing u r 'paying for' is a name & thats the only reason apple gets away with robbery is cause of fools like u thinking u r getting some magical machine

What about I-Macs (the 1st generation, the one with the white round base and attached moveable monitor)? Like, are they relatively problematic? My godfather had one when they first came out and it ended up completely dying on him in 3 or 4 years, and all he ever used his for was music and his art (by dying I mean it wouldn't come on at all).

how do i 'define' having to blah blah blah?
A: did you actually read my comment, its easier 1 because its one part vs a whole computer. i dont know who you are to say whats say as you know nothing about computers.
1 that 'top of the line' ou speak of is obsolete in 3 months if that long
2 build the world most powerful pc and it will run better than the best mac in anything
3 if you have to do all that to keep your pc fast then you need to stay off the porn sites

Easy (to me) is something that works... doesn't crash, doesn't slow down over time, and is top quality, and remains top quality for up to 5 years, while a PC....well, you have to "upgrade" and once you're done after 5 years of continuously upgrading (and reformatting) your PC, you've spent more than if you would have just gotten a mac in the first place.
Yeah, Macs are expensive to start with, but you get what you pay for.

How do you define having to "buy new hardware every year to replace your old one and swap it out of your PC in order to upgrade" as easier?
Easy, means buying a computer that has all the top of the line hardware built in already. Easy, means not having to reformat your computer every 2 months to just keep it from slowing down from successive viruses and unstoppable spyware and Windows glitches.
