Personally, I know people (artist themselves) that like to unconditionally help starting artists, actually it's an entire group of people with a lot of business knowledge in the industry... yes it does exist, a lot of them are on youtube checking up on new artists...

Yes, all amateur community events are done to help out all types of artists, people only have to seek for those in their OWN region... there are visual art shows, music concerts and theatre among other things like like poetry reading... etc...

Great advice. How does one find these people? Do they congregate on specific sites? Blogs? Etc? :) I'm an Internet professional and musician - and there are not amny people out there like that :) I'd like to find more of them :) Please. Thanks

David Wimble you are amazing. I love going to shows, especially the shows my friends have. Going to shows, giving them support, helping them setup. Its fun and I'll one day look back and smile about all the fun we had. I'll always remember being a part of something special.
