  • Great new technology! After working with the new Heropipe Systems at The Rock in New York we attended the promotional ceremony of the 21 newly promoted officers. Congrats to them all. Brand new technologies don't come around too often lately in the fire service. Congratulations for being the first to protect firefighters and civilians alike when facing a large scale highrise incident at any floor height. Thanks for allowing us to attend the ceremony and view this new technology in operation.

  • This not used by the FDNY

  • OK, so how many FF's does it take to carry it up to the floor where you're gonna use it? How long for set up? Is that all the higher it goes? Can you put in a new power pack, or are you just done after an hour and a half? How does it secure to the opening? Will it work in a floor to ceiling window opening? Not a very good or informative demo.
