Peggy Lipton Wear Your Love Like Heaven

Peggy Lipton was at the height of her career in the late 60s, when she was starring in the hit TV series THE MOD SQUAD. She was married to producer Quincy Jones, however her sole album in 1968 was produced by Lou Adler. "Wear Your Love Like Heaven" was a non-album single and is a cover of the Donovan track by the same name. IMHO Lipton outdoes Donovan with her waifish flower child interpretation of the tune. The wonderful back-up vocals on the track come from girl-group THE BLOSSOMS.
