I grew up with the Ghoul in Rochester Michigan. I dressed up like the Ghoul for Halloween a couple of times. To have been able to see him do his show would have been one of the greatest memories of my life. You were one lucky kid, overday!

I always thought so. Problem is, when this was originally broadcast, there were no vcr's so when I told people about this in later years no one believed me.

I've seen him a couple of times. One thing I'll say about Ron Sweed. Whether he's in character or not, he is one class act. Ten years ago, I saw him at a book signing out in Roseville. as you can imagine, their was a line snaking around the building(a lot of them kids) and he didn't just sign the books. He took a long time to talk to everyone.

I was actually on the Ametuer Minute playing my new blue sparkle drums with keilbasa sticks and got waterballooned after I begged him not too. It aired around late Jan of 1977.
Back then he was on WXON Detroit filming out of a van conversion shop off of Telegraph rd near 5.6 or 7 mile rd ? in Redford, Mich. I was about16 then and I am 46 now.
I would cherish that clip and hope to see it soon.
