On Jan. 25 2009. The great directer Kim Manners passed away due to complications from lung cancer. He was famous as a producer - directer of "The X-Files" and "Supernatural". I love all of his works - his daring framings and powerful cameraworks always gave me sheer delight.

I never imagine he is gone like this. I dream about his feature film - "The X-Files" or "Supernatural", whatever, I wanted to see his talent on big screen. Oh, how can I say about this loss - He is gone so early, it's too early. I really miss him.

I made a fan work music video in memory of him and his works. These cartoons are from his directed episodes. I just wish he knows many people loved him and there is a person who get the inspirations from his works. As my friend said, Kim Manners, introduce yourself 'the greatest director on earth" up there, where is no pain.

ps - Probably you got the serious miss-spelling and so on. Please appreciate that mistakes. Well, it's hard to write something with foreign language - I always find my mistakes after finish touch. :(

The music is "The X-Files Theme" written by Mark Snow, and played by Michael Chertock. The X-Files is owned by Chris Carter, 1013 Productions and 20th Century Fox. Supernatural is owned by Eric Kripke, Kripke Enterprises, and CW Television Network. And there's no intentions of infringement.

  • @ItsMe490 That's great! I study Film criticism. I'm thinking of his 'romanticism' on The X-Files and Supernatural - based on film autor policy. It is just an idea now. :)

I study Film but I usually focus on series movie and TV shows on my papers. If you work on thesis, please let me know!

  • @worrynet the thesis is a great idea! i study media so maybe this is what I should do. He deserves to be remembered! I just discovered Supernatural and I am in awe again with his talent. But you already set him a great memorial with your video. We'll keep his legacy alive.

  • @ItsMe490 I think he is a true 'author' which is called in Film critic. I think somebody should write a thesis about his talent. I sometimes dream about his works when I watch Supernatural after season 4. He was a true director, I know that from his works. And now I know he was a true man, for you and all of comments.

  • @worrynet So true. We saw through his eyes. He was such an amazing artist. I miss him too.

  • KIM MANNERS BĘDE ZA NIM TENSKNIŁ R I P

  • @blueflagcfcyt He made the X-Files the best with Chris Carter. I really love their partnership. Maybe that relationship is the point of great TV shows. Well, I know today I didn't post for your comment. I wish you appreciate it.
