Things We Said Today (Beatles) - SweetStick

Another Beatles cover, this time on a SweetStick from Mole in the Ground. Unfortunately their website isn't up anymore, but it looks like they're still available from Elderly Instruments. The SweetStick is set up like the McNally Grand strumstick, tuned D-A-D with the same scale length. Search for YouTube user jasoninboone to find some better examples of this beautiful instrument (the one where he chases the kids around the park is what spurred me to get one).

This vid is actually many months old, just didn't get around to putting it up till now. I'm not a very smiley person to begin with but I was in the midst of a bad cold when I made this, so pardon the glum.

Whats the difference to a sweetstick to a strumstick? I really have no idea how they are different.

@deathslice60 The sweetstick is the same as the grand strumstick - same scale length, both tuned DAD, etc. Just different makers. The name "Strumstick" is trademarked by Bob McNally, so other makers use different names.
