Hello and welcome back to the custom build centre at Primera Sports, today we're going to be having a closer look at the eagerly anticipated Specialized S-Works Venge. This bike was ridden to victory in its debut in the Milan-San Remo ridden by Matthew Goss.
The specialized S-Works Venge will be availablel as a complete bike or as an individual frame, now the frame itself its an Aero road frame it features specialized top of the range FACT 11r Carbon. It's their aero race design, and the rear of the frame is a cnvat Air section which improves the aerodynamics and the overall stiffness of the bike whilst keeping the weight extremely light.
Towards the end of the year there will be a Mclaren version of the Venge, its the cycling experience that Specialized use combined with all the technology that's used in the Mclaren Formula 1 cars, they will be in partnership to create a wonder bike.
The wheelset that's used is the roval rapide SL 45 wheels, the fork that Specialized have used is a completely new design for the Venge that's the carbon aero bladed fork. as you can see it runs internal cables which gives it a really clean finish and its also makes the venge be DI2 compatible which means you can run an electronic groupset.
The groupset on the venge is this full dura ace 7900 groupset wth the exception of the chainset which is the Specialised S-Works carbon crank, it used fact 11r carbon which is the same that's used in the frame.
The whole bike is very very quick, extremely light and its built to be ridden fast.
Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoyed the video, please keep an eye out for the next few months when you'll see a lot more action on the Specialised Venge as the official launch will be in July, please keep an eye out for next month's video. Thank you.
