i doubt he cares...hes got to feed him family somehow right? Especially with today;s music industry being so hard to make it in, im sure he's liked whatever attention and profit he gets from this movie. You are right, they probably dont truly understand his lyrics..but the rest of us do and thats all the matters.

While I hate Twilight I'm not sure why some of you are so upset about it. This man is beautiful. His music is incredibly moving and everyone should experience it. I think you're missing the point if you think that there are people who can ruin this especially if its just because they listened to it. This song is incredible and Sam Beam is a genius. The whole world should hear him at least once.

Not really familiar with the Twilight connection (thankfully), I'm assuming its that whole vampire/pirate/ninja bs, but couldn't care less.... For all you non vampires out there, if you get a chance to see Sam live, get out to a show. I saw him solo and then with Calexico and both shows were incredible

He showed the best music can be made with just an acostic guitar and a surreal voice....Love this song, just notice how silent the audience where during his performance and he did deserved the standing ovation.
