  • what song is that isnt that the tune to our national anthem "god save the queen"

  • @rinkmiller94 That is indeed true. Same melody/music as God Save The Queen. ((I believe I may have even typed God Save The Queen in the tags of this video)). Fun, huh?

  • Will, you are a very talented young man!!

I love this performance you shpuld be very proud!! I don't know the hynm but the tune is Englands national anthem 'God Save the Queen'.

  • @69395 Well, thank you, bub! I really appreciate it! :) Well, I was OK w/ my performance.. not as thrilled as I had hoped to be. I had difficulty trying to speed the congregation up; therefore I had to hold back in my playing lol. I knew that "My Country Tis Of Thee" was England's national anthem lol- In fact, would you believe that I learned lyrics "God Save the Queen" before I did "My Country Tis Of Thee?"

  • @willjustice89 Some friendly advice, the congregation will always be slower than you, or it will appear that they are. If it seems that they are behind you, let them catch up, or else there will be a continual slow-down, as you can see. lol Great Job!

  • @relussier Appreciate the advice.. I did my UTMOST to keep the music flowing.. but the congregation REFUSED to stay w/ me.)* I won't be so nice next time lol. ((in fact, I wasn't today)) :)

  • Will!!!! I jus found this in my saved mail! LOL, i must hav accidently saved it last year! your soo talented, Im so proud of you! Im tryn to find more videos of you playing! well ttyl

  • Well played. I hadn't heard the word to "My country tis of thee" before, although I do recall reading of a plan to adopt it as the US national anthem. Sadly, we have to make do with CDs at our church. there's no substitute for live music.

  • Thank you It's always nice to see this video again. What about something new??? LOL. I know you can do it...LOL

  • Lovely. Just lovely.

  • hey I find you here too you have talent ...proud of you...

  • The melody, probably of French origin has been used through the ages. It was also used in German for the Emperor's hymn "Heil dir im Siegerkranz."

  • Funny this used to be God Save the Queen! God Save The Queen!

  • no reason to critize the playing: less not observing "breath" for the congregation, a more than fair gift in worship. i would let the sunglasses go! even in my similar youth (abeit 20 years ago in the wiles of east texas, they'd a taken my robe and changed the lock on the console!
