A big thanks to our family and friends who funded Braden's iPad! Without your generous donations we could not have afforded it. -- This is my autistic 8-year-old son getting his iPad for the first time. For more information see the blog at AutismEpicenter.com.

  • He don't look that bad. He is asking questions, making eye contact, etc. I don't see many signs of "autism" with him...the only thing I see is the twitching and he is only doing it when he is excited. Don't all kids do that?

  • @theraver2020 - Trust me, he has autism... a good helping of it.

  • very lucky:)

  • @nicolajanes I thought your comment was just as beutiful as this video, wishing you all the best

  • you might be misdiagnosed. Many other disabilities are confused with autism and Asperger syndrome. You should consider going to a psychologist to get rechecked - you might be simply a shy, intelligent, mature kid.

  • What a beautiful little boy. His joy at seeing the cars racing made me cry.

We're getting an iPad for our son, who is 7 and autistic. I hope he's just as excited by it.

  • My son is 6 with High Functioning Autism and he has learning difficulties, he also has speech delay. I haven't attempted getting anything electronic for him yet as I think he has sensory problems, he gets very fidgety and upset when he plays with electronic toys, I was wondering how efficient it would be for him, because he's at a stage in school that he's falling behind other children his age. Do you also know if these apps are available in the UK??

  • I have Asperger Syndrome and I'm 16. I was wondering why I don't act like a lot of people with Autism or AS? Is it because I'm more developed or something? Thanks.

  • He is such a doll. Thank u for sharing.
