@Polonium36.Aikido is about harminizing with the earth ourselves and others.Mr Weston if you study Aikido you may want to study some spiritual Development with that maybe Zazen even or Kototama.Learn to accept peoples critism

thats not just any aikido thats Sugawara aikido. I can tell because the jo kata they did at 0:39 is one of the Sugawara sensei kumijo katas theres 8 of them they are a mix of Tenshin Shoden Katori Shinto Ryu and the jo movements from aikido

it takes skill to make it look as easy as it is - akidos philosophy is to use the opponents aggression against them.. a defensive counter attack will always dominate an offensive strike(no matter how big or 'strong' you are)
