This video shows you how to update the graphics card driver in Boot Camp on a 24" 2.8Ghz iMac which has ATI Radeon 2600 HD Pro. The same technique can be used for other models.

Updating them greatly improves gaming performance.

  • i have the 2011 baseline imac with an hd 6750m and when i downloaded and installed mobility drivers 11.12 and go to the path you showed me( in windows 7 that is so maybe thats why it doesn't work?) it doesn't have the folder called drivers, apps is the only one in there? please help me figure this out?

  • I did this on Vista 64, but as stated below there is a problem with updating it on Windows 7 64 bit. Unfortunately Redirocks, that thread is now unavailable. Does anyone know of a solution?

  • You can't play BF3 with this adaptor I'm afraid. It only supports Pixel shader 4.0, BF3 requires PS 4.1. Sorry!
