imho, his first version of this was much stronger. I believe it was on Never A Dull Moment.

13 people prefer the original by Sam Cooke.
I can't say if I prefer one over the other.
Personally, I'm not a big fan of remakes, it causes people to forget who the original singer was.
However, as long as they don't completely butcher the original, I say let the music play on.
