Any suggestions, tips, critiques would be greatly appriciated. I'm a mid-high 80's player, have a hard time working the ball right to left, and am getting frustrated with my slice. Any tips for getting my swing more into the necessary swing plane.

  • I'm not the greatest player and I am not qaulified to give advice, but it looks like your feet are not in the same line as your shoulders

  • All I know is that you're HOTTIE!

  • Your impact position looks like your hanging back, legs still bent no turning thru. Into out swing path with a club face open. It looks more like a push fade. Your stuck on stay behind it and swing into out. You lose the lumbar Lordosis which is the curve in the lower back thru impact. That is why you hang back. You see the inward curve you have at address is great it will in gage your hips to turn better thru the spine facset. Thats how to engage the hips better thru poper spine positions.

  • Maybe your ball positioning is bad. Put it more up if your slicing

  • Your hips are opening to fast causing the club face to open.So many people don't move their hips at all so golf instructors talk about alot, when the hips will actually turn correctly if your weight is on the left foot and you make a nice inside to out pass with the handle leading the club head.

  • Not going to go into the swing as I don't know enough to comment, but that shaft looks very short for you... Have you had a fitting?

  • Use the rule PGA...Posture, Grip, Alignment. From what I see your shoulders are open. You want to square up your shoulder and align your feet parallel to your target line...Not at the target, but PARALLEL. Rotate your hips don't slide. Hold off your right foot until the finish for an easy correction. Remember if you have a slice or a draw one day...don't fight it, just use to your advantage. Good Luck out there

  • Your swing looks so much better than mid - high 80's. I see a nice finish, no over the top, solid contact, mostly in side out....

could be your short game ???

  • I also suspect you have killed your release so you don't hook. So you may get to learn an active release if you want , lots of power. Don't worry about that yet though, in fact don't worry where the ball goes or you will make compensations. Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips

  • Here is what I can see in this video, inside takeaway with early hip rotation in the BS...In the DS your hips are not leading. As a result your hips are square at impact when they should be well open. As a result your shoulders are slightly closed. As a result your face is open to TL but square to swing path. Might try committing to a straight push first then when consistent strengthen your grip. If you can commit to making a proper hip turn you will be better off, if so change foot flare.
