I have never heard Blackmore speak about his days with Joe Meek; I think he knows some secrets he doesn't want to speak about....

RITCHIE IS THE BEST GUITARIST EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are shades of his unique style that would emerge. It is very rough and unpolished but the bizarre playing suited the song. Sort of like surf guitar on amphtemines

Great photo of Ritchie Blacmore.
I am studying his career from The Outlaws through to Blackmore's Night.
Born in 1945 and still playing and writing great music today!
Thanks for sharing!

sometime's, he didn't look happy. let's remind him of the solo that we heard on 'highway star' from 'made in japan'. maybe if he got back to inventing some of our most cherished riff's ... oxymoronic, sure but you know what i'm sayn.

Ritchie Blackmore is a highly talented musician , and quite the adept influence - thief. He did'nt have Jeff Beck's unique style, yet by 1972, he had single-handedly created heavy / shred lead guitar. Without Blackmore? no Priest, Maiden, and no Scorpions either, probably not many 80's classical/ shred-masters..
blackmore is my best guitarist
