DexMR has it right. Tom Peters is NOT about greed - he is about giving a damn about what you do, and caring about making a difference in the short time that we have on this planet.

I respectfully disagree, and believe you have entirely missed his point. Peters is about passion, energy, creativity, risk-taking and innovation; respecting the customer and providing the customer a positive experience such that the customer will keep coming back. His point about "obscene profit" is that it enables you to hire the best people with those qualities who will in turn provide the requisite value to the customer.

I agree with Dex! It is not capitalism that makes the Enron's and orgs like them what they are, it is greed and corruption, this happens in EVERY society at EVERY level in EVERY class. Demanding superior quality and top performance does not equate to a lack of integrity but the desire for you and others in your life to succeed abundantly...
