Varenne lost this race just because of his driver. He should not fight with foals goal in the turn. He would have won just like the breeders crown open trot 2001.

Varenne is the best horse ever. Everyone knows that the day he was very sick, but the owners have to make the big mistake to run him anyway. Varenne has always been exploited and treated like a machine for money, forgetting that he was an animal with a heart and lungs.
