This is a skin improvement tutorial but I do not by any means try to make the person prettier. It's just a plain request that I got from a person who wanted to learn how to make skin like people in magazines.
If you have any other requests or questions, feel free to comment or give me a message.

  • is it PTS cs3?

  • @TaroCoco Yes it is. Photoshop CS3 Extended Edition.

  • do you think BLUR tool will gonna help?

    than 3:54 ?

  • @spagget It will probably work to a certain level. One thing that will be bad with the blur tool is that you can't edit where you want it to be afterward, since it wont be using a layer mask. Also you can't lower the opacity later either.

  • @xLukinx Thanks!!! gonna replay your video and i'll try it in photoshop! :D

  • @spagget No problem! :)

  • Trust me, magazines don't do it like that, professional magazines that is.

  • @annemarit21 You should really read the description.. "This is a skin improvement tutorial but I do not by any means try to make the person prettier. It's just a plain request that I got from a person who wanted to learn how to make skin like people in magazines.", What I am doing is making her like the people in the magazines. The reason why I took this picture is because it was the only decent picture I could get without breaking the copyright laws.

  • so you think this is "improving" her skin? she has such pretty freckles, you ruine the picture by making her look like a barbiedoll..

  • haha thanks! :)

  • @xosaksasluv4evaxo Oh, sorry, forgot about that, first you do the mask, press the mask "layer", then you press "Ctrl+I", it will invert the image, in this case, white to black. Or you can just fill it in with a Brush or the Paint Bucket Tool.
