We can agree or disagree whether this was rape or not, but this is a soap we're talking about. Luke raped Laura on GH and the are the biggest supercouple of all time. In soap operas, women often fall in love with and marry men who tried to kill them. It's drama, fantasy, fiction, etc. Look at Christine on Y&R who became engaged to Michael Baldwin, the man who sexually harassed her and attempted to rape her. The bottom line, it's entertainment. However,how many rape victims are there, that at a time of need for a loved one there was only one person who could help them and that person asked for sex, to identify with this?
