Drummer boy,
it's telling that you associate music w/ physical aggression & that gays make you feel insecure about yourself. (VH was gay) I usually don't respond to lowlifes w/ hateful msgs but I hate turds like you & I want you to know that you can not hide it. No matter how much you swagger & say doo-oo-ood w/ a deep voice. No matter how many muscles you pile onto other muscles you won't obscure your worthlessness. I can give up this Youtubery. You will always always always be dumb.

I imagine that I'm in a church tossing aside one champion after another. While others stand disapprovingly with their bibles to their chests. It's fun. And this is the dishonesty. But there is also substance - if you stop holding your hands over your ears. Look behind me, at the open door. There is a world out there away from His Sexy Touch. You with your toy swords and your school yard taunts. Your "I can't hear you" Your obsession with style. That is your dishonesty.

Don't you think, that Horowitz uses a bit more pedal in this interpretation just because acoustic of this hall is too dry for this Sonata ? :) I think so.

shynium,
Of course, I came to give your rheumy master a beating. And I often like "weird" people. So thank you for that. Good day to you. I'm done here. And I expect to see red numbers accumulating beside my comments. Because, you know, they are all so very bad.

In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response[1] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion... sry PJinBston , but you're only troll .. nothing special.

robertforberger,
One might have said all that without the phony pedantry. With 3 words. But that would be a mere schoolyard insult. This way you can strike an authoritative pose & lay out your clever argument. Most importantly you don't have to struggle with substance. WCRB just began playing the "carnival overture." How appropriate. You striding onto this stage, the latest contender, accompanied by tamborines. To battle for Horowitz. "Yer a troll." I mean that's the substance of it, right?

. . . You might also have done your research, because though most of my very generous comments have been censored by frightened people (here & elsewhere) you can still click on "reply" to view. The reality is that in spite of his skill, he gave obscene performances. Like that monster Glenn Gould, if his shows were billed as "this is my ego speaking" then it would have been more honest. Horowitz thought that his presentation was more important than a composers music. Style over substance.
