  • The sixth store should have been named Fake, so that the two storms together would be Fake and Gay

  • Super typhoon GAY is scared to landfall on Luzon Philippines...hehehe...just joking

  • didnt have the straightest path

  • @goinforthegold2 I can imagine! I'm no expert - but looking at the IR-BD enhanced images of 'Gay' vs 'Angela' at their respective peak intensities - I'd disagree with the 'official' Dvorak estimates and predict 'Gay' was even more intense than 'Angela'. At peak intensity 'Gay' had an almost completely spherical shaped ring of convection (VCDG) around the eye - Angela had a ring but it was not as spherical or well formed - Tip only had certain areas of VCDG - never a complete ring around the eye.

  • @GermanOperaSinger Well since i lived through typhoon Gay my self I would have to say it was a nasty storm and wooped GUAMS booty all over the place.

  • @jonnagilda Its nice to know that you think you know what your talking about. BUT you are dead wrong about it not hitting land...I lived through that typhoon living on GUAM...We got our asses wooped by that storm...

  • Based on Dvorak estimates 'Gay' was the 2nd most intense typhoon in recorded history after 1995's 'Angela'. Both were estimated to be more intense than the official 'most intense storm' - 1979's 'Tip'.

  • @jonnagilda well it hit guam
