  • It's because the stunt was filmed in two different locations, they realised the Mustang needed to be filmed exiting the alley into a Las Vegas street and the Vegas crew unfortunately did the stunt with the car on the wrong pair of wheels. The French stuntman wrecked four 302/351 Mustangs trying to get it right. The chase car was a 429CJ. The Mustang that does the ramp jump out of the car park was totalled by the landing and crushed soon after Dunno how many 1970(??) Ford police cars they wrecked

  • If he had room to flip he could have just driven straight through lol

  • Top French stunt driver Remy Julienne was brought in for stunt with Mach 1 driving on two wheels through alley he wrecked four Mustangs and could not get the shot. Top stunt driver Bill Hickman was asked if he could do the stunt which he did in one take. They used Remy Jullienne's entering the alley this is why the car is on the wrong set of wheels upon exit. Remy Julliene was still paid for his work and Bill Hickman added to his reputation as one of America's greatest stunt drivers.

  • 4:19 always cracks me up.

  • I had a 72 mach 1 with a 351C-4V engine and C-6 auto transmission.

For the time that car handled pretty good from the factory.

You could take the corners fast with minimum body roll.

Many cars of the time had pathetic handling, but the Mach I was very good for the time imo.

  • @rane29 Unless there was a small gap or something, with a space big enough, and it was flipped the other way.

  • Bond making a beautiful Mustang Mach 1 go through a tight alley? sweet

  • @CycolacFan Buzz Bundy took the car on two wheels into the tunnel - but yes - you are right - the car coming out of the gap was driven by a French stunt driver.

  • @irish89055

some of the best stuntmen in the world are French - Remy Julienne for example.

  • @CycolacFan that's because it was a French stuntman...

  • the days of the sleazy Vegas...

  • U guys are forgetting something..........its James Bond and he can do anything...........:) thumps up.
